Edibles Dosage Calculator

Do you want to know an approximate dose of THC, CBD, or CBG is in your edible or infused recipe? Well simply input your information below and easily figure out your dosing for all your recipes!

Now remember though, IF you are converting your THC to THCa or CBG to CBGa you will need to multiply the results by x .877 and for CBD make sure to multiply the results by x .878.

The calculator below calculates the total “POTENTIAL” THC, CBD, or CBG. When cooking you end up converting these to THCa, CBDa, & CBGa. Read more at bottom of the page.

What Is THC?

“THC, also called tetrahydrocannabinol, is the compound in cannabis that is psychoactive and gives you the feeling of being high. However, THC’s chemical make-up, C₂₁H₃₀O₂, is very similar to its counterpart, CBD, which actually combats the effects of THC.”Click Here For Source

What Is CBD?

“CBD, short for cannabidiol, is a chemical compound from the Cannabid sativa plant, whish is also known as marijuana or help, according to the US National Library of Medicine.

It’s a naturally occurring substance that’s used in products like oils and edibles to impart a feeling of relaxation and calm. Unlike its cousin, delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which is the major active ingredient in marijuana, CBD is not psychoactive.” – Source: Click Here

What Is CBG?

“Cannabigerol, or CBG, is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid typically most abundant in low-THC and high-CBD cannabis strains, including hemp. Like THC, CBG reacts with the cannabinoid receptors in the brain. CBG, however, acts as a buffer to the psychoactivity of THC by working to alleviate the paranoia sometimes caused by higher levels of THC.

CBG works to fight inflammation, pain, nausea and works to slow the proliferation of cancer cells. Research has shown it also significantly reduces intraocular eye pressure caused by glaucoma. Strains high in CBG will be beneficial treating conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, Crohn’s disease, and cancer.” – Source: Click Here

Conversion of THC, CBD, & CBG

When you cook THC, CBD or CBG you convert them to THCa, CBDa, & CBGa. The “a” stands for acid. For example if you have 10 grams of cannabis at 15% THC. You take 10g x 15 = 1500 total mg of THC. So there would be a total of 1500mg potential THC. You then would take 1500 and multiply it by .877, which = 1315.5mg of THCa. So after cooking a recipe with 10g of Cannabis at 15%THC you would have a total of 1315.5mg of THCa.
